AJP V8 Bell housing

Hi all,,, My clutch slave cylinder is leaking like a sive and since ive already spent my yearly buget on the cerb i have no option but to do the job myself.

All i intend to do is replace the seals and refit back as standard, and my question is this ......

Do i have to remove the starter motor before i remove the bell housing from the engine ?? and if i do why is this ??

I didn't when I did mine, just disconnected the cables when the gearbox had been moved back. Left it attached to the bell housing while the slave was replaced as well!

Thanks Wil,,, i ll see how the job goes, if it saves time and effort i might leave it on and just dis connect the wires
