I've just fitted an Odyssey PC 1230 from Devon 4x4 - pricey but fits perfectly and after researching the forums the extra cranking power really works great.

Here's a picture of it being fitted and fits like a glove as well as having an amazingly good cranking power :-)

Beware those red power leads being pushed onto the exh manifold by the scuttle panel (Which is what happened to mine when a bodyshop had to remove and refit it to charge the battery - the resulting fire almost wrote it off). Please tie-wrap them out of the way!http://www.devon4x4.com/products_a/p1250c96/0/odys...

Optima red top sorted out all my cold-start problems. Spins much faster, starts every time, although I do tend to leave it on the optimate when in the garage for more than a week or so as I believe that the repeated draining by the alarm is what kills batteries more quickly than normal.

Good point!Luckily mine wasn't hot as it hadn't been running so no danger there, but yes take note of safe fire-proof practices and tie-wrap all your leads out of the way :-)
