Door glass metal clamp/holder felt replacement?
Discussion
I'm making good progress at rebuilding by Cerbera with it's replacement door (combined early door and later door wiring loom in, door openers working, window going up and down, alarm getting a little confused but think it just needs a reset).
However when the driver's door glass was replaced either the felt that holds the glass in the metal clamp had perished, or got ripped and the 'fixers' that put the glass in have used part of a polystyrene cup instead to hold one side of the glass in [not good me thinks!]
Does anyone know where I could get the felt that should be used here, or a standard window part material that could be used?
Also the window up/down switch is a bit bust - any recommendations on one of those too?
Many thanks in advance! Alex

According to this GM bulletin, http://www.wkjeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk_2302305.pdf , the part I am on about is the two window regulator clamps and the rubber within them.
Basically the regulator clamps are there, however only one of them has the rubber/felt padding to stop the glass cracking against the metal regulator clamp, so looking for suggestions to replace that!

Thanks Tanguero - good tip and rubber I would imagine will just work fine.
For the replacement parts list, has anyone replaced the micro-switch in the door that detects whether the glass is up or down with a new one?
As far as I can tell it is a long lever microswitch similar to this one at R.S. Components

but would be good to know if anyone has tried this yet :-)

So following Tanguero's great tip, I think this piece of Nitrile rubber, 200mm x 100mm x 2mm should do the trick just fine - and it's < £2.00 on eBay :-)
