I really wanted to get a quote off Hagerty.

But they never rang back after taking my details.

Ended up with A One, who responded immediately and gave what I though was a good quote.

This year I decleared the new sports exhaust, re-map at 413BHP and uprated suspension (Gas Golds) and 5000 miles limit at £426 for full comp including driving to work.

Still £60 less than my NU without mods declared.

Anyway, good to see a number of providers giving good deals, as it will keep them competitive!!

Only downside to Hagerty is that they will not include commuting, and don't really like to discuss it. If this is no biggie for you then great.

I was told that as long as its only now and then that the car is used to commute it is fine to use it.....why would I want to be stuck in traffic with 100 degree engine everyday anyway?

Brilliant clip love it? Suprised by the guy who said Hagarty never got back to them I found them to be very personable unlike many of the larger companies and even after explaining the upgrades and chips I have had its come down a lot? They dont like dailly drivers for sure but guess most of us on here dont use the beast for that, you would either never get to work as you would just carry on driving or spend all day with a stupid grin on your face and keep looking out to the car park??

Depends what your commute is like, mine is 10mins over empty country roads so I quite like taking the Tiv. In any case, an insurance co telling me that sometimes commuting is ok, kind of, if you don't do it too often, maybe is not what i want to hear... after all how would they know how often you commute, if they only find out what you get up to when you crash? "Ah sir the traffic policeman noticed you were wearing a suit - no payout for you, sorry"
