Is this the car you changed from Purple Illusion to White, last year ?
Yeah ! The White was just a quick re-spray to cover up some damage done by a Blind person who couldn't quite manage to find the keyhole as he walked by. It looked s
t to be honest, this is a proper one now that I have some half decent premises..JensenA said:

Like the colour, should go well with the wheels.

Hi Ed, well that's the long term plan, yes. Hows life, and hows the car?

My thoughts on respraying a Cerb are that a colour change is a hell of a lot of work!! It's surprising just how much work there is because of all the dismantling involved. I'm tempted to take a photo of a the car and all the bits if I can find an area big enough
.So for anyone contemplating a 'cheap' colour change respray, here's a list of the body Parts to remove: to give you an idea of whats involved....
Bonnet, Bonnet catches, Boot, Boot hinges, boot catch, boot release badge, 2 x Headlight Cowling, 2 x Headlight lenses, 2 x rear light lens, 6 x Rear light clusters, both Doors, Inner door mouldings, Inner Door trims, rear and front screen rubbers, Door shut rubbers, upper Door rubbers, 4 x door catches, wing mirrors, Front Engine cover, Rear Engine cover, Bottom Windscreen Moulding, Wiper Motor, Battery, Header Tank and Bracket, 2 x Front Indicators, number plates - have I missed anything?? And of course...then you have to put it all back together
