In a word, no. Some scrotes nicked the head unit so I stuck a din pocket/cubby hole there. Much more useful and handy for keys, ciggies, change etc. smile

I often listen to the stereo (when the car was in a drivable state!)

I often have an AC/DC cd on but I also like the irony of listening to classic FM whilst on an early morning joint with the windows down. biggrin

I must say i tried to listen a couple of times. But i had to have it so loud over the noise of the engine that it gave me a headache. Its never been on since.

I put a bit of ZZ Top and Red Hot Chilli Peppers on for my son sometimes.

If i'm on my own and on a long straight run, I slam in the Prodigy.

If i'm accelerating or decelerating....I open the windows.

Yup, I have a DVD head unit with the DAB add on and external DAB aerial. Really nice sound.

I did but the reception was poor. I tried a JVC Hal-1 which wasn't bad, stuck under the dash on the passenger side. It took me a year to decide to do it but I've gone for a Hal-4 stuck at the top middle of the rear window. The aerial is not too big and really thin so doesn't really ruin the lines but reception is fantastic - no drop outs.

The aerial sticks on the outside of the glass with another section stuck on the inside. The lead is then long enough to run around the windscreen under the headlining, behind the rear seats, along the centre console and into the passenger footwell where the dab add on unit is- with some length to spare.

Nothing better than the early drive into work with the dawn patrol and the dulcet tones of Sara Kennedy!
