I need to get some tyres before I go to Spa in a few weeks.

I've read that there's not much between T1R's or the 452's on roads, but what are the 452's like for tracks? I used the T1R's last year at Spa, but am considering the 452's as they are cheaper.

Has anyone used the 452's on track?

Hello,

I've got the 452's on my chim 450.

Done 3 trackdays so far/

2 in Zolder (dry) an d 1 in Spa (wet)

I feel they are better in the (wet) edited DRY than the toyo's as fitted standard.

Admitedly I've also changed wheel size, went from 16 all round to 17Fr and 18R.

Good results in Zolder (dry) and first in sprint discpline... ;-)

Not so good on track in the wet but neither were the toyo's.

So hope for good weather!

My 2 pence...

Get some 888's miles more grip than any road rubber, don't worry about
the wet grip horror stories. I drove Topcatd Tuscan racer round silverstone
on slicks in the rain before the wets went on, wasn't that bad.
