I have discovered that the electrical problem with my car is the immobiliser.

For some reason when driving along it kicks in and kills the engine. I am then able to start the engine again.

Has anyone got any ideas as to what may cause this?

Thanks,

Mark

It's the immobiliser going. Graham had the same thing only his gave him about 30secs to one mins worth of driving.
Time to give Carl Baker a ring?

The immobiliser isn't too difficult to replace.

I'll be doing mine very soon and will post all the details of how to remove it, by-pass it, etc.

Only joking, I'm not going to be posting details of the immobiliser.

But seriously it's fairly straightforward to change and I will be doing mine one of these days.

I got my new one off Carl Baker.

Mine turned out to be a faulty earth in the boot. It gave the same symptoms as yours.
