Hi Y'all,

currently doing a change and although I've used the Search, I can't find a straight answer to the simple question.....

What is the capacity of a 4.5

1) Without filter change
2) With filter change

Many thanks fot your info.

(Giving her a flush before Spa woohoo)

Ta STM,

No wonder nothings come up on the stick after 4Ltrs. I had to get down on the floor twice to check I'd refitted the Sump plug wink

Bloody £72 a 5 litre pack now - that's £222 for a double change - Ouch !

Hi Paul - just serviced mine - picked up 7 litres, but didn't quite use it all - it's a useful guide though.

idea Just a thought - as it is soooo expensive for you over there, perhaps someone could bring some over to Spa for you?

Me too - and if you need a top up, you can buy it at any Shell gas station - here or abroad.

I can bring some to Spa for you if you want. I've found it online for £33 per 5 litre with delivery £6. £106 delivered for 15 litres, so about 115 to 120 euros. Send me a Pm if you are interested. smile

Dear All,

Many thanks for all your comments.

Yes, it was Mobil 1 fully-S 0-40 so I guess they just hung me out to dry.

Thanks for all the links and offers for transporting it but I've already bought it - Couldn't wait int' garage any longer.

Purring smoother than a baby's botty so we're just off out to groove some country A Roads.

For future reference:

5 litres, in a drained sump, brought the level up to the 'bottom' mark on the dipstick.
600cc more took it just a gnat's over the 'top' mark.

Have a great weekend drivingwink
