hi guys,

last weekend i noticed that when i start the engine the cerb as about 1000 revs when idleing
after so time the revs all of a sudden drop to 500.
with out doing anything the engine stops or goes back to around 900revs.

happend a couple of times

Any ideas on this?

This was one of the symptoms I had when the big 100amp fuse went on me, so might be worth checking that.

that happend to me some months ago... on a big and bussy cross croad

frown seems to happen at the most awkward times, mine was in a single carriageway tunnel, thankfully just made it out, otherwise would have caused a lot of trouble!!

well if you've ruled out the big fuse then I can no longer help, sorry smile I'm sure someone will be along soon who can though!!

but, knowing TVR, she might repair herself smile

Same problem on mine and it was the throttle pot. Only got it back last week and done maybe 60 miles on the car since then but it does seem to have solved the problem.
