Moved my Cerb for the first time in over 2 years last night after this years rebuild.

A couple of questions...

I filled the power steering resevoir up, turned the steering from lock to lock a few times and all seemed fine. However after about 10 minutes the p/s stopped working. All the fluid is there... Any ideas?

Also the throttle seems very sticky and its idling between 2-3k

oh and one more thing.... The clutch... Its a new unit with a new slave. I bled the system about 4 months back and everything felt and seemed to work ok. However although i can get the car in and out of gear it's not easy. Also the clutch pedal feels crap. i.e the pedal is only a few centimetres from the floor before it engages. Could it just need bleeding again?

Any ideas would be great!

Thanks

Mike

okay short version.

Pump bomb proof if water and oil working.

quil shaft broke or holes blocked.

Bleeding rack is side to side with wheel a few times but make sure engine is on.

Quil shaft out is:

four bolts on rack and move rack forward an inch

use the inch to undo both UJs and pull shaft from quill assembly

three bolts on quill shaft assembly remove and then remove quil shaft. presto.

P.S. clap on back for Cerb in Cup but do you think its now holding you back?
