Boot Solenoid

I have a few spare "3 wire" solenoids. How do you modify these to work with the "2 wire" connections??

I would guess that the 3 wire work in both directions, e.g. to lock and then unlock.

For a 2 wire I would have thought you just connect the wire that causes the plunger to move in the desired direction.

i dont really know. but i would gess on a 3 wire one wire would be earth and the other to will be for the dirrections, one wire forwards and the other for back.

Thats exactly it. Try it out on a 12v battery - you want the wire combination that makes the solenoid 'pull'.
