I for one want the weather to continue as it is, bright and sunny, my Cerby is having the starter re built and it seems to be taking an age (well a week so far) but the sun is shining and I should be out enjoying it.

Way to early to put it to bed yet. HSCC Historic Car Races at Silverstone on Saturday so a good excuse for a drive if the weather is reasonable.

Does everyone put there's away in a garage? I don't have access to one so just had to leave her outside last year, think I will try and find a nice cover this year though, Is still drove her some weekends and clean her more then I drive her! I may just use her all winter, although always risky in Scotland as the weather can be crap sometimes! Not used her for 4 months as I'm stuck in Afghanistan at the moment! Think the R1 will be left well alone for the winter though!

As a side note, anyone know of a good custom fitted cover with soft liner? always worried a normal one would scratch the paint

brakedust,

I left my lotus out last year, and the frost played havoc with the paint (numerous bubbles formed) frown I have a cover with the cerb that will be used, even if it may add a few swirl marks - they can be sorted with elbow grease when the sun comes back smile

If its dry run it all year, tis better for the car and your sanity in my book, but at least keep the poor thing in a garage no Cerb deserves to live outside, cover or no cover hehe

Hope weather improves.

Not only do we not have a garage, the Cerb will also be coming apart for a body-off rebuild over this winter. frown

Won't make you feel better, but mine sits outside and will be used everyday, rain, shine, frost and snow. Not for everyone I know.

Biggest problem is the lack of wavers (Other TVR driversbyebye). You feel a total goof waving to TIVs from a Corsa

Car is in the garage, if we get a nice dry weekend it might venture out...will be out for Thunder come rain or shine.

Otherwise it's tucked up in the garage.
