Had the door in bits this morning to identify the source of a rattle. In the inner door I found two metal objects which don't appear to belong.
Can someone confirm my suspicions and identify the objects? They're 10 inches long, 5mm wide stainless steel rods. One end is pointed the other is hooped. Any ideas? Used when trimming the door or a genuine door part?

I would think its something to do with the door. Does the window work ok?

I found the piece in the inner door car. As far as I know, the window mechanism is all contained in the outer door. I've not put it back together yet, but the window opens/closes as you'd expect. The only slightly odd thing is that the door doesn't fully open on its own, but I put that down to the reduced weight when the inner door isn't attached.
