R888 what size fits on the front.

The tyres on the front of my cerb are 225 35 18 Toyo proxies.
I would like a track day tyre but am told thr R888 is not available as a 225 35 18 size. The nearest is a 225 40 18 or a 235 40 18.

Do both these sizes fit on the front without scraping on something. going on 18" spiders?

I have the 225 40's, they were reccommended. I find them very good, look a bit less stretched than the 225 35's
