Liverpool and Victoria...

Guys - anyone on here insure a 4.5 Cerbera with Liverpool and Victoria? I just rang them for a quote and they only list straight six and 4.2V8. As they didn't list a 4.5 or 4.5 Red Rose they were unable to offer cover. Very disappointed as they seem to offer a good package judging by comments made on here in the past. Any ideas?

Sorry cant help on Cerb front but i can confirm they
have done a great deal on multi vehicle insurance for me...full 70% protected discount on new policy taken with them because of my existing policy...

My 4.5 Cerb is insured with Liverpool and Victoria (policy is through Frizzell - CSMA) I found them to be far and away the cheapest. Approx £600 / year. I can use the car for business (which I do), unlimited miles and they even cover me for trackdays. Thumbs up.

Forgot to add it includes full protected 70% NCD as well!

Ceejay - They told me they didn't list a 4.5 so couldn't offer cover. Don't suppose you have a contact name I could talk too. The bloke I spoke with didn't seem to interested in sorting anything out. I'm not a CSMA member though.

Hi Washy,

Basically use Frizzell as a broker so don't deal with Liverpool Victoria directly. Sounds to me though like you spoke to their compulsory brain dead employee, every company it seems has at least one. I'd try them again cos for me at least they are cheap, explain that the 4.5 has been around for some time and is still on TVR's list so surely it must be on theirs! Hopefully you'll find someone who will sort it out for you.

I'll try again tomorrow and ask to speak to someone senior I think. They insisted that they were unaware of anything beyond a 4.2 Cerbera least of all a 4.5 RR.

My 4.5 Cerbera is insured with Liverpool Victoria, best price I could find and have been with them for four years. They are very good with modifications, always covering the changes and issueing a new schedule FOC.(Wheels, Suspension,Body work, Exhaust)
