hi guys, was just wondering if anyone knew of any good rolling road places in the north west and if anyone up these parts fancied meeting up before the really bad weather sets in and having a rr session?

Is there anybody with a rolling road and knowledge in East Anglia/East Midlands that anybody recommends?

Afaik Joolz sold all his gear with his rollers going to Raceproved. I have an open invite to go for a RR session.

You been on holidays?

He has stopped trading. Broadly the situation is:-

-> Seen a slow down in Cerb work so moved to smaller premises.
-> Diary from now to yr end is empty so costs outweigh earnings.
-> Doesnt want to supplement with servicing work (and as Jools pointed out there are 3.5m other TVR indies in the country so even that might not be great model anyway)
-> So try and get a paid job somewhere.
-> Sell up hardware eg rollers to Raceproved.
-> Leave a huge hole in the TVR world.
-> This house will become a shrine, and punks and skins and rastas will all gather round and hold their hands in sorrow for their fallen leader. And all the grown-ups will say, "But why are the kids crying?" And the kids will say, "Haven't you heard? Rick is dead! The People's Poet is dead!"
And then one particularly sensitive and articulate teenager will say, "Other kids, do you understand nothing? How can Rick be dead when we still have his poems?"

Will Dave work on a standard car with the MBE (I think?) ECU, because at the moment I just want to have the existing setup tuned on a rolling road.

Edit
Just Googled them and their road only goes up to 340 flywheel HP so probably not enough.

I would be interested in a tune up and rolling road session there but my car wont be ready till about March.
Id like to know more about their ECU options too.

I spoke to Dave a while back and he doesn't remap MBEs.

I know about the move to smaller premises just down the road from his old place, I was only there in September. I didn't realise it had gone as far as this though
