HI BEEN READING THE FORUMS FOR SOME TIME NOW AND JUST WANTED TO ADD MY EXPERIENCE OF CERBERA OWNERSHIP.THIS IS MY SECOND S6 TVR FIRST ONE BEING A T350C BUT FOUND IT TOO FRANTIC AND WANTED SOMETHING SMOOTHER SO REPLACED IT WITH A 52 REG S6 CERBERA .TO SUM UP AFTER 2 YEARS AND 18K MILES WHAT A SUPERB RELIABLE AND SIMPLE TO MAINTIAN CAR.ONLY FAULTS UP TO NOW ARE ONE OUTER CV JOINT AT UNDER £25 AND A PAIR OF LAMBDA SENSORS AT £40 EACH .JUST FLOWN THROUGH MOT TEST WITH EMMISSIONS SPOT ON.IT USES NO OIL OR WATER EVEN DURING A 2000 MILE TO FRANCE LAST SUMMER.JUST A POINT TO THE V8 LADS NO BROKEN CRANKS NO POWER STEER PUMP FAILURES NO STARTER MOTOR PROBLEMS .I AM PUZZLED BY SOME OF THE BILLS FOR REPAIRS AND SEVICING I SEE ON HERE THOUGH AS THESE ARE AMAZINGLY SIMPLE CARS AND SOME OF THE AMMOUNTS QUOTED ARE A JOKE.BY THE WAY I HAVE BEEN A VEHICLE TECH FOR 35 YEARS.

I'm also im my second SP6 TVR . First one was a 2001 Tuscan owned for nearly 2 years , It had had an engine rebuild before i got it and in 2 years and 9k miles it cost me a battery £80.(loved it, Tuscans are awesome))
I am currently in a SP6 cerbera 2003 as I needed seats for the twins I have just noticed a split in the manifold that will need welding but so far so good but i have only had it 3 months!!.

Don't worry guys, in the interest of balance I have poored the kids inheritance into mine. Still the list of jobs grows. Can't see me getting rid of it though. The only way I could face parting with a speed six is to buy another, but would still want a cerb so maybe an AJP8 and a matching Tuscan? Lottery time.
