It occurred to me that photos of the cerbera often don’t do it justice. One reason is a photo doesn’t show just how low to the ground it is. Another reason is that slightly wide-angle shots from the front can make the length of the bonnet look a bit ridiculous.
Last night I took the car to Tescos – oh the life I lead – and parked it under the lights away from other cars. Coming out of the shop and walking towards it, jeez it looked good. Has anyone got a good shot of the cerb at night, under lights?
(BTW I am not really a newbie, had the car since 2004)

I agree with that, always looks better in the flesh than in photos. Ideal is under lights as you say in a petrol station or carpark where there are other cars for reference. Sometimes when I return to my car I think it's the best looking vehicle ever made. There are cars that look meaner or more in yer face, but the cerb doesn't shout at you (until you start it up, at least), it just invites opinion with it's unusual shape. That's the beauty of TVRs, the grp allows shapes that sheet metal car designers can only dream of

PS Check out Byker28's shots in the Cerbera best pic thread. I think they win the 'best pic' trophy..
I did a few for a photo comp, had a few published in Sprint as well. I've been slowly investing in lights, stands, umbrellas etc and researching locations I plan to do a few moreGot the idea from a shot Ireland did under the street light. This took three days of trying to get it right. All I had was a couple of battery powered camcorder lights, so it's 5 secs exposure. The yellow on the road is from the street light. I climbed up a ladder to put bin bags over it as it kept putting a yellow tinge/glow over the pics

This was dusk on the top of a carpark

I've plans for a side on outline shot, plus redoing some other nighttime shots. Just need the time

I like this one:

And the colour version:

The Cerb is a stunning looking car; I've a Tuscan too, which also looks great. I'm not sure which I prefer - the Tuscan is more dramatic, more outrageous looking, the Cerbera more restrained but powerful looking.
I think, for me, in terms of looks, the Cerbera has it by a whisker.
But then, this is the Cerbera forum!

Mr Sheen, Andy Hills, irregular on here, used to be the main photographer for Sprint and populated Ian Ayre's TVR book. He's taken some craking shots of the Cerb. One particular one I remember on London Thunder. I'm a bit busy at the moment but I sift through my files to see if I can find it. And I remember seeing a collection of T-Shirts with various pictures of Cerbs, or a Cerb, on them. They were nice shots.

) the lights are the standard fluorescent type as opposed to the yellow street lights. It sets it off quite well i think, but then i am a bit biased. Only phone camera quality unfortunately though.
