Just out of interest, how many people have chnaged the oil pressure relief spring as in the post here:

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

My pressure is good, but just wondering if it is worth changing some time soon?

Changed mine and it made no difference.

But - it's cheap and you know it's been done!

You should really do it every 2 years I would say. Most Cerbs will have had it done a number of times (I hope!).

Changed mine about three years ago just after getting the car.
It raised the pressure by about 10psi both hot and cold, but are
the new springs better quality because 3 years and 15000 miles
later pressure is still the same.

I bought my Cerb from Waldonway, who serviced it from new.
I still have the same oil pressure that Julian found he got with the new spring.
Been the same for last 22 months I've had it.

Hi Lee, hope your still enjoying it mate, just FYI, neither myself or the owner previous to me of your car changed the spring, so i would guess that it's probably worth changing by now.

I changed the pressure relief spring the other day after reading several threads on here. It has not changed my oil pressure at any rpm but was an easy mind at rest job ticked off.

TVR Power, Racing Green, Clever Trevor, TVR Parts etc - take your pick!

TVR Power recommended fitting a new spring at the annual service. Made 15psi difference to mine 8 months ago.
