Hi
Another week, another post that has been asked time and time before.
How hard is it to remove the door cards. Someone decided to use a nice black plastic from an S&M catalogue on mine. So thinking of replacing back with cream carpet. Not sure if this is easy to do, and where do i start?
Thanks
Mark

at the leading edge of the window there will be a small piece of rubber that is SOMETIMES stuck down with silicone and attached to the door card, so you may have to break the seal and then re-silicone it back down. the door cards on the cerb are probably one of the few things that TVR managed to do a good job of as they are easy to get off and give excellent access to the inner workings.
try taking a chimaera door card off and you'll probably end up calling the fire brigade out to come and get your arm back out for you

And just in case you dont know
.........remove the 2 inner part's of the inner-door panel - the bit that houses the speaker and the big surround bit. On the 'hidden side' of the door panel there are a lot of Allen head screws (probably hidden under blobs of silicone), remove them all and you'll see how easy it is to do a re-cover job.
