Every time I take a left turn, my oil pressure guage goes down to zero & my oil light comes on.
If i rev the engine, everything goes back to normal.
Apart from the turning left bit, the symptoms are identical to when the oil pressure relief valve, bit the dust last september.
Can this be on it's way out again ?
If so why only when turning left ?
My oil pressure is other wise good & the engine sounds perfect.
Any ideas please ?

If both the oil pressure and lights indicate low pressure then it sounds pretty genuine, as if the oil pump is loosing suction rather than the PSV being at fault.
Not sure what level of oil you have at the moment. Try running a slightly higher level of oil (take it to max level on the dipstik). If this doesnt solve it, it could be the oil pump suction pipe in the sump?

Many thanks, I'll try topping the oil up, I checked it yesterday & it was towards the top up mark.

lol, Do not drive it!!! Get it checked out by an Independant. Loosing oil pressure is serious and I'd be wary of anything that drops below 12-15 psi. Unless the oil is very hot and the engine is on idle.

A litre of oil appears to have cured the above.

Many thanks.
