Thanks to all that helped on my few little niggles but now i think i have a big problem!!!

The other weekend i couldnt get into first gear when i started the car so let it warm up a bit and then pumped the clutch a few times and after 10 mins of this all was well again. No problems again then for a few days of driving.

I then a week later took the car for a spin and spent an hour or so moving slowly in traffic with the gear box getting v hot.

I then dont drive the car for a few days and now cannot get into gear at all even with warming it up and pumping the clutch.

I have been looking through the archived posts and have now checked the clutch fluid which to my dissapointment was all there filled to the brim which i kind of knew as there are no signs of leaks on the floor under it..

I am now going to get it picked up and let the proffesionals look at it. What can i expect and is there anything else i can try before my bank account gets rinsed?

From reading other cerb owners similar problems it sound like the fingers to me. If it is this then should i be asking for a certain replacement so that it doesnt happen again and should i also get other related improvements done. If so what?

As ever all help really appreciated.

Its not a big problem, it is just a new clutch. About a grand and you will be all sorted. I would go raceproved.

you must be used to owning TVR's Gazza!
I am - had a few big bills but a clutch, whilst expensive, is just a consumable IMHO and so one should expect this to need replacing every couple of yrs. To call it a big problem isnt right in my view. Big probs are bodywork accidents, engine blowing, diff exploding.....
