My siren was going off when driving ,took to an auto sparks, he said it had water ingress and may have damaged the main board.
Who repairs them, everything works ok except the noisey bit.

Yes it is. No one will ever know more about TVR alarms than Carl, very helpful and knowledgeable guy - every one on here who has dealt with him will agree.

Cheers for that. thumbup

Just spoke to the chap and am going to take a trip over to see him just after new years to get it sorted. Opting for having the system re-programmed and two new blipper thinggys to !

If you have the red card you can add extra blippers yourself - you just buy the blippers on-line, quoting the code from the red card and then synch them in. Easey peasey. If you dont have the red card then you need a reprogramme of the alarm and the blippers - which requires more work etc.

Cheers for the heads up on this Gazza. When i spoke to the chap he said something about although having the coding numbers this doesn't always work apparently (don't shoot me i'm only the messenger). He said something about you only get a certain number of blippers that you can add to the system etc etc. But, if the blippers on line are cheep as chips then i may opt to try this route first as i do have the red card with the numbers on.

Cant remember which people I used, I think it was abacus, but it might have been Guardian.

http://www.abacuscaralarms.co.uk/alarms/meta/index...

http://www.metasystem.co.uk/index.php/msy_eng_en/c...

Or Google 'Meta Alarms' for more choices.

dont forget that these alarms were also fitted to Fiats.

I think I paid about £40 for a new one, I quoted the (8 digit?) code from my red card. They coded it and sent it to me. They provided instructions (also avail via a google search) to synch it into the system. I now have 3 working blippers - 2 of the original TVR printed ones and one of the generic meta round ones.
