I am looking at a pair of 4.5 red rose cerbs at the moment. One of them will need tyres for the mot. The car will be going to the South of France - where I live. It very rarely rains here and only a handful of days when there is a chance of any ice. I would look to put on a full set of rubber, with the difference in climate are there any recommendations on average air temp will go from early teens in winter/spring to late thirties/fourties summer. The car will be used daily.

Tyre manufacturers generally supply tyres to hot regions that are suited to the local climate.

The tyres have a temperature rating written on them and a quick web search should give you a list of these.

However, most tyres for the Cerbera will be rated as "Summer Tyres" and probably OK for your requirments.

I have Toyo on the front and soon to fit T1R's to the rear to match.
Very good I have to say!

But this year I fitted Avon ZZ3's to my daily and have to say they are very good, but a bit more expensive that the Toyo's though.

The only problem I have with the Toyo's on the front is they don't protect the wheels in 235 size, so keep away from the kerbs!

If I were going to be guaranteed as much good weather as that I would definitely go for TOYO 888s.

I was thinking of doing it and I live in a torrential rain enclave.

Good Luck thumbup
(and how about inviting us all down for CerbEuro 2010 hehe )

I used the Goodyears and was very happy with them too.......then I tried the Bridgestone Potenza RE 050s and found they were miles better. The rear end grip was amazing with them and the turn in from the front felt great and gave me excellent feedback and a new found confidence in the car.

Toyo T1R's have been strongly suggested to me.

That's what I use. I'm now on 225/40/18 rather than the normal 225/35/18 as I think that the taller profile suits the car better (for looks anyway)
