Griff Growl ROAR BBWF S Club Heaven - why nothing for Cerbs?
Discussion
Maybe this is because I'm relatively new to Cerb ownership (my first birthday on the 6th Jan!!!!
) but I can't help wondering why there's no annual get together for Cerbera owners???
If there's ROAR for Chimera's, Big Bad Wedge Fest, Griff Growl, S Club Heaven etc (there are probably others) - why is there nothing for Cerbera's???
From a year of reading PH, devouring SPRINT - I seem to recall seeing something about CREAM? Or is my brain just addled after over-consumption over the festive period?
Thought came to mind whilst marking up the 2010 kitchen calender with the SYTVRCC meets, obviously the Chatsworth weekend (NOT to be missed)......
Are Cerb owners inherently anti-social?
Or is this something that has been tried and was sh*te?
Maybe the Chatsworth gathering has now superceded any other Cerb get together????

Hi Mike
Over the last year, I got some way with outline plans for a Cerbera event - possible locations, event format etc., but last year was busy busy with car stuff, so I failed to get anything nailed down....
I didn't make the Cream event, so I am left wanting!
But F'Ya Pants is right when he says we've enjoyed some fab European Cerbera Trips
and long may they continue

.Mike - why dont we try and think of some Cerb owner 'extras' for Chatsworth? So we could all take part in the TVR gathering but maybe extend it to include some cerb only stuff eg a blast up snake pass, dinner at a local eaterie, maybe even camping somewhere for those so inclined. Am sure we could think of some good stuff...
CREAM was great fun, but I think the intention was to create a profitable event, and I'd put money on that it wasn't that.
The circuit trips look great fun, if too expensive for many.
There are a lot more Griffs and Chimaeras than Cerbs and that is a major problem in trying to arrange a Cerb event.
I've thought about arranging one, but it's just too much of a gamble, I think you'd need to be very brave to even think about it, oh and have money to lose.
Having said that: How about a 1/2 day track event at somewhere like Brands with a gathering in the bottom paddock, I'm sure Brands would be interested if they thought we could run a track event, I've run an evening one for TVRs in the past without hickups, and MSV have been VERY helpful.

If you're serious, contact PH 'Longers' via his website http://www.fasttracktours.co.uk/classic.php as he is holding a couple of spaces under my name. Have to be quick though

Do you know if any other Cerbs are going convoy stylee?
Any rough indication to total costs?
