So random question really, what sort of mpg are people getting out of their Cerbs? Im my old Tuscan I could manage easily over 30 on the motorway at 80ish, and was just curious to what I could expect in the Cerb?

I always hope for under 20, hopefully even under 15.

Seriously though I have heard claims of over 30mpg etc..... I have prob done 30 or 40 K or more in TVRs and have yet to actually try and measure the MPG.

People sometimes say to me;

"tut tut, bet that has appalling fuel consumption" smug grin smug grin.

"yes I am a little disappointed because good fuel efficiency was the main reason I bought the Cerbera", I reply

Not quite sure what this equates to but when i picked mine up i did around 170~180 miles on a little over half a tank. Was a nice steady journey back home at a constant 70. BUT the last 10 miles through London in quite heavy traffic i used about a quater of a tank !!! hehe

On my S of France Trip, it was always 250-270mls to a tankful. For a 4.5 litre performance car it's actually feckin good mpg figures.

Anorak I know, but way back in 1990 I wrote a little Lotus 123 spreadsheet to keep track of MPG and been doing it to all my cars and bikes since. Helps to show up when things are not quite right!

Recently sold a bike and new owner loved it, as it showed where and when the bike was (France etc.) in my ownership.

So in just over 9000 miles since I got my Cerbera, average is 21mpg.
Run down to France last September returned 25mpg between fill ups, at mostly 130kph auto routes for over a 1000 miles.

But it is very easy to get it down to 10mpg!;)

Have done 28 on a long run daintly right foot and under 90, but who the hell wants to do that so basically under 20 if you are really driving?? You may need to put a bigger breather on the fuel tank so the air can keep up with the fuel going out Lol
