Cerbera Bible?
Discussion
Now that the acquisition of a Cerb moved one step closer, is there a Bible for Cerbs? By the way, an important part in the decision to live the dream was the friendlyness and helpfulness of Owners and people in this forum..Thnaks guys and gals....but still, did Steve Heath do the Bible things on Cerberas, or is there anything comparable? Thanks
Working on it but it is a big job!
I've just replaced the whole cooling system, made some nice ally bonnet hinges and the plan is later this month to strip the car down at Tower View to get the material I need. They have just had a very experienced Cerbera/Tuscan guy join them from one of the dealers and they will be offering Cerbera/Tuscan servicing and maintenance as a result. He will be helping/guiding me through the experience. I will be working down there with them as part of the process. Also expect to see some upgrades come out of this as well.
The Intergalactic Cerbie is still going like a good un.

Just replacements for the originals machined out of billet ally. The two originals were so rusty that they snapped when I removed the bonnet to sort out the cooling system.
But isn't the orginal a contentional eye bolt with a couple of penny washers sandwiching the fiberglass?
Yes. I haven't changed the basic hinge design as it works well. Just made it look a bit prettier and out of material that won't rust and snap whan I next try to undo it. I also wanted to get the car back on the road and couldn't wait to get any new ones. Made it from a couple of billet off cuts from the old scrap box.

How did you solve the weak point which seems to be the attachment of the metal to the fiberglass?
