New Battery

I'm thinking about getting a new Red Top Optima RTS 4.2 battery.

Can someone tell me if this fits a S6 Cerb, as all the links from a search I did, show V8 users and I think that the Speed 6 battery fitment and siza are different.

I just swapped over to the Red Top Battery (I have a 4.2). From memory from my old S6 Cerb, the battery placement is the same so it should fit. Best thing to do is take the old battery out and make sure that the dimensions of the Red Top battery are the same or less than the old one. Height is the biggest issue with the batteries.

When i swapped out the battery in the 4.2, i found the Redtop was actually smaller than the existing (flat) battery - it was about 1cm less in length. In true TVR style i had to amke a small wooden wedge to make sure the new battry didn't move around !
