Hi. Anyone know how easy/difficult it is to repair this ? If the chassis and suspension are all ok do they repair well and where is the best place to source the parts/costs ? (live in north kent) Cant give any more info on the damage yet apart from what you can see in the photos.

If its kinked like that, then it could well be distorted further along the chassis. The only way of really finding that out is to put it on a jig. It seems a lot of hassle to do. For something that might not be that cheap in the first place.

Yep, that chassis crossmember looks suspect. Although it's relatively easy to bend a crossmember like that without transferring any meaningful force to the longitudinal tubes.

Saw this on Autotrader - interesting to see the hood opening the wrong way round - or do you think the bonet catch was locked and someone has lifted the front end!!

Please fix it,these cars are not some Toyota, a new Cerb will never be made again. Less than 1000 cerberas left by most peoples understanding, to good a car to break up for parts.

Plasticman on here can do wonders for body parts or so I am told, chassis can be completly rebuilt if needed and is not a massive amount of dosh to do as most of the body will have to come off any way.

Basically I would say fix it, well looked after examples make high teens and a fully restored 4.5 should make a worth while price so you shouldn't lose out.

If the chassis was fine (which it isnt, but I doubt its too bad actually... that'd be relatively easy.

Agree with what has been said, save it if at all possible.

apart from chasis he s lookin at new front end about a 1k brand new , i bought mine for 500 second hand , stripping the front end around 400 500 pound
if he wants speed six lights with pods 500 new radiator there 2 on e bay at the moment 250 , 2 front indicators 50 each from tvr or 25 each on ebay search them as millitary land rover indicators , new air con radiator 135 , air con condenser 35, needs new horns high and low one , oil cooler 150 , reviring the front end around 500 lights fans horn etc, new f1 panel £??? , new bonnet would be cheaper than fixing it there is one on ebay cheap , front air box , washer bottle , 2 fans for the radiator , this all i can see from photos , plus labour for fitting all these parts and painting the whole front end bonnet , side wings , need to be blended to the doors for colour matching ,
good luck smile mine had alot more work than this

Maybe you could get it to a place where you could have it inspected for alignment. It looks like head on frontal damage which, despite the bent tubing, could be ok. It would be expensive to fix the car up so you would need a good buying price ie:£4-5000 because to have someone to restore it for you would cost around £11-12k I think.
If it were your own project then it would be less but there are many bits which need specialist attention if you have the skill. If you like torture then go for it but if not, my advice would be to use your money to get a good working one which someone else has spent their savings on.
Having said this, it looks like a car in need of saving and several have come back from the dead. That's my two penneth. We all want to see Cerberas stay on the road.
