folks, events have conspired against me and I have to sell my cerb. Sadly it has an engine glitch (it still runs but I do not have the time or money to fix it) censored!

I hope someone from here buys it. the advert will appear in the next hour or so.

Jes

Jes sorry for the edit but without it would constitute an ad and would be pulled.

That's not good news, I have followed your progress through Sprint for a number of years.

Hey Jes, thats real bad news. I know exactly how you feel, as when I was forced to sell my Chim the other year and leave the Speed championship behind.
I truly hope things workout for you, whatever your problems, I hope they are small, you`ll come through.
Keep smiling mate

chaps - thanks for the kind words - the last 7 years of cerb ownership have been great. Hopefully it will only be short term before I am back.

cheers

Jes, sorry to hear you have to take a break and need to part with your Cerb. Motorsports for individuals are a big drain on the finances from what a couple of my friends have experienced.

Hope you can regroup and get yourself another project later to event. Still TVR but maybe less troublesome and expensive the the AJP. I'll duck out now before the others start shouting at me for that.

Good luck for the future Jes.

Shouldn't your advert be a premium one? You've been on here long enough haven't you?

Hi ridds,

my view was that if someone is serious about wanting a cerb they will read all the ads anyway so I didn't bother with a premium ad - it seemed like more hassle

Jes don't suppose you would consider selling the 17's with the 888's separately. I see it's on 16's in the piccy so maybe you still have them, or I have a set here anyway. Hope you don't think this rude, just have been looking at getting some RL's to put 888's on anyway so it kinda jumped out at me. Feel free to tell me to bugger off!

Don't you dare Jes,

I was going to ask about what you had planned for last year's Toyo prize, before I spend a load of money with Mr Dunlop. smile I don't think they'll fit on the mountain bike mate. biggrin

But didn't want to appear too mercenary. wink

That is against forum rules I believe.

However, I spotted this the other day and it made me think of this topic;

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1446626.htm

This is a car capable of winning every event it enters, getting fastest time of day and setting record breaking outright championship wins with a driver like Jes Firth. True TVR racing pedigree... in a few years, cars like this with a motorsport history will be the most sort after Cerberas of all. thumbup

The advert is great, are you sure you can't find and cure the glitch.

You could add maybe another four or five thousand to that car if you didn't feel the need to put the words engine problem to the advert.

Is there anything any of us can do to help find the glitch?
