not the normal post but i was curious about the reg on this car http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1323528.htm i was under the impression that dvla retracted all reg's with 666 or was it just pub gossip

i think its pub gossip, i was looking at a Discovery the other day which started with W666

DVLA haven't done anything with 666 plates - mine is an undated 666 plate.

I got my R666 OTT from the dvla about 2 years ago.
I must have spotted at least 1/2 dozen 666 plates last year at chatsworth

That would be cool.
10 x 666's in a row would make a good pic.

Most 666 cars have a reason for the plate ive noticed. Usually heavy modifications of some sort. The nitrous justifies mine i think
