Bedford track day, 30-1-10
Discussion
Hi all
Just got back from a cracking track day over at the Bedford Autodrome! Was a bit touch and go to start with, clocked 100.8dB @4krpm on the static but once on track I had no issues with the noise meter.
I had been up to Silverstone Performance for a quick geometry check before hand and Matt had done a cracking job, she felt totally planted on track. He also recommended I tried a few clicks harder on the Nitrons at the back and it transformed the car. Much better balance between front and rear grip, the rear was really predictable.
Couple of photo's :

Had a few tussles during the day, M3 CSL (easy prey), Corvette Z06 7.0 (fantastic bit of kit, we just nudged 150 mph at the end of the back straight!) and the usual Impreza's etc.
Other than being really cold, I think it was my best track day ever! God I love this car!

I must admit, the noise tests are always a bit scary, I only have decats, the rest of the system is standard!
I have no idea how you guys get on with the sports exhausts! The Cerb put in a faultless showing, no spins, no problems and very quick in all areas of the circuit!
Only thing on the shopping list is the 4.5 brake upgrade, I have the callipers just need the discs and the brackets now. Oh, and some Carbone Lorraine pads. Good times!
