I'm just about to do the hand brake shoes. Just want to know what the alternative shoes are?

I found Jag XJS fitted mine, others have said Peugeot iirc. A tip I picked from a TVR mechanic was that the standard AP pad compound is too hard, so in this case pattern parts from a motor factor are a better choice. Have search there was definitely a thread on it.

These are the XJS ones I used a couple of months ago - perfect fit.

The Peugeot ones are from a 405

The shoes themselves on mine were from a 605, but the "fitting kit" (i.e. the pins and springs) were all wrong. I used the XJS spings and re-used the old pins.

My mistake - yes it's 605
