Yes - My cerb has gone to a new home. The guy is an airfield track day junkie so it will be properly used. Thanks everyone (and especially Tim) for all the help and advice over the years, this really is the friendliest forum I have ever been fortunate enough to be involved with. Its been fun. Will be back one day.

cheers all

Jes, just do the Sprinting community a favour - don't buy a new car for 9 months, so someone else has a chance of winning the championship ! wink

Or, offer your technical expertise (to the highest bidder) to help fund the next project ! driving

All the best !

Not followed the other thread fully, I assuming this was purely a financial decision on the rebuild costs, was the engine written off in the end then confused.

I assume also it was advertised careful owner not raced or rallied hehe

hi harry,

yes purely financial. The cam had snapped which meant engine out etc etc and as i had very little spare cash just could not risk getting half way through the job and running out of money. sad but there you go. I will get another tiv but one that is cheaper to maintain than a cerb. Having said that i dont regret a second of the 7 years i owned it.

Shame the Cerb flag flys no more but to keep the championship alive a 5ltr Chim can be had for the money of a AJP8 rebuild. Factor in the handicap in keeping it standard, bobs your mothers brother, champion at half the costs thumbup .
