Has anyone else heard this rumour or is it just a supplier scare mongering?

Racetech emailed me today with news that they had bought the last TVR stock of the wheels. They said that the wheel may not go back into production once this supply runs out.

I know the owner of Rimstock and have dropped him a line to ask. they will know the contractual relations with TVR and whether they have orders etc.... They may not know TVRs plans (ie I guess there isnt much money in this for TVR !).

Racetech have a habit of sending scare monger emails eg VAT, postage strike etc...

I was thinking the same thing, for what appears to be end of the line stuff the discount seems rather low!

When i went to pick my car up at my local(ish) tvr specialist he said something like this and said he can do silver for about £550 for a full set in silver and anthracite(sp) a bit more.

I keep planning to get myself taken off their dist list as I find the 'panic button' approach to marketing rather off putting. But I keep thinking maybe I might miss something useful...

I've bought so many in the past, fed up of them bending. Next set will be non spider - despite loving the look of them.

I am talking to Matt at Silverstone Performance, looking at 18x9" front with a 18x10" rear, so there will be 4 anthracite ones going cheap! smile Just got to work out my offsets first.

what I's matt doing? Are you getting some one off sp12's?? I would have thought the cost would be prohibative? With the demise of Dymag I have now purchased a few sets of the rays CE28. Seems like a good wheel.

Don't forget I have 4x 10x18 compamotive rims and 6 x 10x9 of the sane if any one need some.
