Hi

As some of you may be aware, I'm making an advertisement for the Cerbera as my final piece of A2 Media Coursework. As part of the process of developing my advert, I have to undertake qualitative research which basically means that I have to ask you questions on your behavioural and pyschographic characteristics. Im asking you guys this because you are my target market and I have to understand you as an consumer so that my advert is effective. :P I know thats all a bit of a mouthful, but if you could give an answer to these few questions it would make the world of difference to my advert thumbup

P.s. I know the answer to some of these questions are a bit blatantly obvious, but if its a simple question, just give an simple answer biggrin

Question 1)
What benefits do you seek from the cerbera?

Question 2)
When would you be likely to use the cerbera? (i.e. day-to-day car, or at weekends)

Question 3)
Do you look for such assets as Performance, luxury, practicality? If not, what else?

Question 4)
What is your favourite song of all time?

Question 5)
What is your favourite film of all time?

Question 6)
What would you want to see in a TVR Cerbera advertisement? (i.e. promotion of assets, the scenery/background - like driving roads or a plush hotel, etc. . .)

Many thanks to everyone that helps me, it seriously is invaluable and vital to the production of this cerby advert. Once I have completed it, I shall upload and post it on PH and Youtube. Thanks Again, I owe you guys one clap

Question 1)
What benefits do you seek from the cerbera?
A. A thrilling driving experience and a pride in ownership

Question 2)
When would you be likely to use the cerbera? (i.e. day-to-day car, or at weekends)
A. It's my only car but not needed to get to work, just every other occasion.

Question 3)
Do you look for such assets as Performance, luxury, practicality? If not, what else?
A. Performance, looks, individuality

Question 4)
What is your favourite song of all time?
A. Big Love (live) - Linsey Buckingham (Fleetwood Mac). To name just one.

Question 5)
What is your favourite film of all time?
A. Life of Brian - Monty Python

Question 6)
What would you want to see in a TVR Cerbera advertisement? (i.e. promotion of assets, the scenery/background - like driving roads or a plush hotel, etc. . .)
A. It's not a posh car or refined or luxurious. It's a sleeves rolled up, down to earth car of action and it's also damn good looking to boot. I,d like to see wheels spinning, hear the sound of it, seen on the streets and the open road, it pulls into Siverstone circuit next to the pit garages and cars and (I like the idea of a sexy lady) a sexy lady gets out of the drivers side which would complement the sexyness of the car.

I know it is easy to imagine an ad and not easy to realize it but I guess you're just trying to get the flavour of what we would like. Hope this helps a little.

Demi Moore stopped by her broken down car. I drive up and offer her a lift and she plants a huge kiss on me and we drive off into the sunset together.

If you can get Demi Moore, I'm free anytime...

Q1) A pure driving experience & the 'do one thing every day that scares you' feeling (either driving it, or waiting for the call from the garage to tell you the size of the bill). It's a car that most people don't understand - it costs a fortune to keep it, it's as moody as a woman with the decorators in, it will rip your head off if you don't pay attention all the time, and it's not ~that~ fast by today's (supercar) standards - but it has something special that owners just 'get'
Q2) Whenever I can find an excuse on a dry day.
Q3) It does something to every sense - look at it, listen to it, feel the punch in the kidneys as you hit the loud pedal, smell the burnt hydrocarbons, taste the adrenalin in your mouth when it steps out at speed. All that AND you can take it shopping. Oh and it really annoys the green flip flop brigade.
Q4) Tricky as there isn't just one, but today it's Wild West Hero by ELO
Q5) See Q4, either Blade Runner, or Lost in Translation (yes I know rolleyes ).
Q6) Just the car being driven as the TVR gods intended, oh and maybe some breasts would be nice too biggrin

Question 1)
What benefits do you seek from the cerbera?
A feeling of Freedom!

Question 2)
When would you be likely to use the cerbera? (i.e. day-to-day car, or at weekends)
Whenever I want to get that feeling.

Question 3)
Do you look for such assets as Performance, luxury, practicality? If not, what else?
Performance together with an individuality that only a select few crave.

Question 4)
What is your favourite song of all time?
Got more than one, but when I get to go on my first tunnel run, think I'll play Saturday Night by Elton John! Then Freebird on the way home!

Question 5)
What is your favourite film of all time?
Vanishing Point

Question 6)
What would you want to see in a TVR Cerbera advertisement? (i.e. promotion of assets, the scenery/background - like driving roads or a plush hotel, etc. . .)

Driver decides to take a day off and just drive his Cerbera!
Drives against the traffic, as it all comes into town just as the sun rises.
At the lights the TVR stops (big famous junction in London say) the BMW and Porsche drivers stopped on the other side of light look across and see the TVR all alone and an empty road ahead of it.
Cut to BMW driver who fiddles with his tie and Porker driver who looks down at the bland interior of his car.
Lights change and Cerbera roars away as those other drivers crane their neck to see "What on earth was that"! Number plate has to have something like FR03DOM as it's registration.

Dissolve to caption "Cerbera - not for everybody"
