just trying it out to see if it works but here's a before and after of my attempts at retrimming the doors.

If it works then it will be time to get a piccie in my profile.

Very, very nice. How easy was it to get the speakers in, and which ones did you go for in the end, by the way?

Wahey!!! Cheers Jo

Good news. I've seen all the threads with just little red X's so I didn't want to mess it up.

Anyway, next time the sun is out I'll get some more (might have to wash it first)

Not too bad getting the speakers in. The tweeters are almost a straight swap and the woofers are tight but go ok. It's a strange feeling taking an electric jigsaw to the car.
The hardest part was trimming the curvy bit and figuring out tvr's wiring technique as I only had the centre speaker and two tweeters.

All in, about an evenings work for each door. Just got to tackle the helmet hole and the parcel shelf now...

Went for Infinity 6000cs in the end but don't get infinity for the back. I've just sent back my 4" ones cause the grill is about 5 1/2" and doesn't fit with any amount of pushing. I'm waiting for a smaller replacement to get sent back out to me.

Andy,

How hard was it to do the leather?

It looks a treat and I've got that horrible "Sacking" (What were they thinking of?) all over the inside of my car.

I might give it a go.

Joe.

Not too bad. It all unscrews into sections. The centre part just stretches across and the edges are hidden by the grey bit.
The speaker part is a little bit trickier and needs a bit of stretching and pulling to get it into shape. But with a tin of spray glue from Frosts and an evening in front of the telly it can be done.

I even found £1.40 behind the trim which pays for 1.4% of the leather, bargain.

I have 4" Infinity's in the rear of my Cerb. Simply throw away the horrible looking seat belt extensions.
