Hi guy, can anyone tell me how to remove the helmet holder? The search facility aint working today so if someone could let me know that would be great.

You unscrew a wing nut that is behind the cd changer in the boot.

Still really didn't know we had one. Where is it? inbertween back seats in/on cuby hole?

the roundish area between the rear seats. often people mount a sub speaker innit.

Yea was too big for most peoples "helmets" so great for a speaker though??

There is a wing nut in the boot above the fuel tank behind the control boxes I think. It's a pig to get the nut back on afterwards!

You can see, where the bolt goes through the back wall, where the metal bracket is in the top of the picture...

Should leave it alone, its an original quirky feature, how many other road cars have a helmet holder for track use.

Thats fantastic. I have a car with a helmet holder! Never would have guessed that was what it was for though. Now will use !!!!

Personally, on the track I'd recommend the wearing of a helmet.. biggrin and leave the helmet holder for road use...biglaugh
