right then - found myself a nice Cerbie - shook hands and all being well part with money and pick it up next weekend
BUT

its Graham's (Speed 12) with the "not to my taste" 19" rims

so - any idea how much a set of spiders will cost (18") and where might i find some and is is ET42 44 99 or 35 ???

or have a soft spot for Emotion CR from ACT - any idea the cost

I've got some used spiders available with tyres mate, drop me an email if you are interested. They fit straight on, correct Cerb offset.

If you want some new light wheels with custom Cerbera offsets, you can't go wrong with some Silverstone Performance SP12's.

Forget Spiders, they're too soft. Get some SP12's from Silverstone Performance, lighter than Spiders and much, much stronger.

They arent similiar, they are the same! The SP12s though look nicer as they dont have the motorsport wording on them and I think that SP had them modified and so fit better than the Team Dynamics of the shelf.

Depends how you define the same I guess. They are a great wheel. I much prefer your modified version.

They are the UKs most popular after market wheel. I was only speaking with Rimstock last week about them.

A dictonary? I can spell the word 'same'. I think you mean thesaurus (which I probably cant spell). ;-)

It was my "buddy" who told me they are the same wheel. I have an opinion as a consumer which is different to you as the supplier.

Per my posts above I think your SP12 is a great wheel and would encourage people to buy them.

I recognise that the Sp12 is a great wheel and that it is a special tvr version commissioned by sp. Different offsets, no lettering and less weight. I wish you continued success and I will continue to encourage purchase of said wheel.
My posts are meant to help fellow posters make a choice albeit with encouragement toward sp. All in the spirit of enthusiasts and owners forums.

We could argue all day it would seem about the definition of "the same", but your remarks above sum it up perfectly. No hard feelings I trust.

I was rather more upset by the scrote who cut my roof open (with some secateurs he had just stolen from my neighbour's shed) to steal my iPod in the night.
