Hi all, I Woke up this morn and thought id start taking parts of the AJP in order to adjust the tappet shimes.

Once i got the fuel rail off i noticed all my injectors had black dirt in them, Ive been running the Cerb on Optimax for the best part of a year now, so poor fuel is not the cause.

Im thinking of soaking them in Redex injector cleaner for a week or two to see if they clean up, or is there a better way to clean them with out risking damage to them ???

How old is the Fuel filter? I'd replace that as a matter of course anyway.

Try one of the ultrsonic cleaning baths from Maplins, only 25 pounds
that should clean them out. Or take them to a garage with an injector
cleaner, that way you can check the flow and spray pattern.
