Help , dead Cerb

Hope you can help,

Went to start the car this morning, turned over Ok but before it fired there was a load grinding noise. So I stopped immediately and then when I go to start her up all I get is the starter motor turn over just the once and then stops all other electrics work fine. Only other thing is Charge light (which is actually the oil light) has been coming on and off every now and then. Fuse fine seems to be a dodgy connection.

Sods law I part exchanged it against a Chimaera yesterday to be picked up Friday, and last night the left hand tail pipe dropped off on the way home from TVR garage.

Yes I now, still love the looks of the Cerb but I just keep spending on it.

Same problem with mine in December, starter motor had gone.

It could be stuck in which case moving it an inch or 2 in gear may be worth a shot before trying to fire it up

Is your battery ok? any warning symptoms, slow turn over etc

Starter motor must have been stuck, did what you said fired up no problem, put battery on charge overnight and everythings back to normal.
