I don't want to adjust it unless I have to, just wondering if this was the 'normal' ride height. I'll wait to see what happens when I find some speed bumps.
And yes,
the spoiler is staying. It would cost a lot to get the boot-lid filled and resprayed just to please the 'conventionalists'. I'm getting used to it, I'm sure everyone else can. If not, that's just tough!
And yes,

Probably not the best of pictures but it's the only profile one i have at the minute and will give you a rough idea (i hope) as to how mine is sitting. When i bought it i sent it into TaylorTVR, had all the Geo set up on it and had it highered (about an inch at the front and 2 inches at the rear) as to me it was sitting far to low. From your picture though i'd say that it does look a bit on the low side.

Nice Car. Did you kill the Witch, or did she just run off?

Hi all, I know this shot is not at the best angle but can I have your thoughts on the ride height. Does this look right, or is it too low?
Or does anyone have a 'factory' measurement from the ground to the top of the wheel arches?

It looks a bit low, but not excessively so. But with the downforce generated by the spoiler, you might rub the arches at high speed.Or does anyone have a 'factory' measurement from the ground to the top of the wheel arches?

it does rub a little at 180MPH so I think I'll raise it a tad!
don't think the spoiler looks to bad but if you did want it remove try rob at http://www.carbondesign.co.uk/cd/ would be a lot cheaper than you think and his colour match is excellent. he just painted dan's (Taylor TVR) chimaera.

My Nitrons were set up too low by a reputable garage; this scrubbed all tread from the inner 25mm of the front tyres (18" on Spiders), ensure you check this if this is the height you intend to run - it looks a tad on the low side to me, but please check with your local specialist before you have them adjusted

Could someone explain the official measuring points, I can't find them in the WSM. Is it the chassis rails, or the outriggers, or the bolt heads on the outriggers, or somewhere else entirely?
Also, is it 130mm all round, or 125mm F and 130mm R?
TIA
From an official ex TVR chassis engineer, the front wheel was meant to follow the contour of the arch and the rear slightly higher! Also, is it 130mm all round, or 125mm F and 130mm R?

OR measure the length of the dampers when the wheels are on the ground. Front 325 mm rear 353mm
