Try unplugging the immobiliser? My 2nd cerb once stranded me at Le Mans. We hot wired it / bypassed the immobiliser. when I got home I removed the extra wires I had used and the immobiliser was working once more. So I think it had just done a sulk on me.

Do you not have a code key which plugs into the back of the cubbyhole? That's the plastic key thing.

the red LED on the immobiliser has gone out completely. no over ride works?

That's what I meant. In that case, if disconnecting and reconnecting the immobiliser doesn't work, I recommend you call Carl Baker.

I changed all my fuses for the SH ones with the little tell-tale light and have had no problem.

Disconnect the battery or unplug/replug the unit and then press the button/push key in as soon as you can.
Seems to be the trick?

MAKE SURE THE DOOR IS OPEN and you have the key in your hand!!

Time to call Carl Baker me thinks sir on 07720-723-407. I took mine down to him about a month ago and he sorted out my system for me. 3 new blippers and 3 new immobilizer chip keys. Everything is now all hunky-dory. He'll do the work for you while you wait and supply you with plenty of tea also
