Is it just me or does anyone else find they're forever hitting the horn button instead of main beam??

I think it's like the typo condition I have teh and don;t. Never seem to be able to get those right either!

Kind of confused me when I got the '98 as the horn
and main beam buttons had been switched around to
that of the '96 car.

No idea why, preferred the main beam at the bottom.

How odd - here is my old '96 wheel.

Anyone else with a 96 (or any other year!) with main
beam at the bottom?

Naughty, naughty - over 2500 revs on a cold engine with high oil pressure!

No, not at all DJ.

Photo was taken on the M1 after a 1 hour drive to
see my new car

My temp gauge would never go above about 85.

I was sure the gauge read lower than it should, but
I had the temp tested by TopCats who said I had one
of the coolest running cars they had seen.

Here is another taken at the same time, as I say,
after an hour at the wheel - as you can see, I'd
refuelled enroute and done 65 miles since.

Not sure why it is so low in that shot other than it
was well below freezing out.

My apologies. As you say, the temp gauge must under read. Mine runs at about 70-80 even when it's freezing outside and never falls that low when warm!

No problem DJ.
Have to say, I prefer a lower reading car, my new
guage has not hit 100 yet, but is more the normal in a Cerbera.

Come the summer, it will be interesting to see what it reads.

My wife's car fans don't cut in until about 105 and
that always makes me feel uncomfortable being
above boling point?!

Did a bl***y good impression if it was a fake!

Anyone else with this lower main beam 'quirk' on their '96?

My car currently shows 30 degrees when on the move and goes up to the mighty temperature of 50 degrees before the fans kick in.

I wouldn't worry about the gauge readings as long as the laptop says all good.

High oil pressure?? Mine reads 60 PSI at hot idle! I'd say that was very low for 3000 revs/min if the engine temperature was that low.

My '98 car has the main beam at the top and reads 80°C whilst on a M-way run and clips 105°C whilst sitting in traffic in town. I always have the heater on full though to help (and to keep me warm).

Nope, my horn is below too:

Isn't the Cerbera interior the best on any car out there?
