About 25mins of the trackday, which was soaking wet so no grip available, so it shouldnt have gave it much load, it must have known that i had paid £250 for the day!!! then i discovered the ex missus had wiped me off the RAC policy, and replaced me with the lodger! Thats the girl she's now living with, i know what you are thinking fella's
So expensive 25mins that!

Maybe you can treat yourself to one of the 'special offer' trackdays at either Silverstone or Rockingham? We started a list (inevitably and 10th August at Rockingham is looking likely for a group TVR appearance!

alot, but worth it... Ours was completely rebuilt with the ATB fitted and IIRC was over a grand. Lifetime guarantee, very noticeable extra earlier locking, pretty impressive bit of kit. That said, we did have an open hydratrak before we switched, so the advances may have been exaggerated.

I have my new Crown wheel and pinion. The new one is the same ratio (3.08) but is thicker, the teeth are also bigger, and looks to be stronger than my smashed one. Which is nice.
I'll post piccies with the part no's (which are different) just in case anyone else wishes to change gearing in the future.

I've got the 6 litre LS in and the same diffratio you have, Brummie.

If I'am correct you have 513 hp at the wheels. How much torque does it have?

I'am interested in the partnumbers. Do not think that I will use it the same way you are using it, but you never know.

512lbs/ft of torque at the wheels.

I am not worried then.

I am not a trackday racer and my hp is 450 and 530Nm of torque. In the Netherlands we calculate more in the Nm's. I calculated 694Nm!!

Sure you do not want to go CTS Quaife?

Here are the two crown wheels, the one i am now putting in has longer and squatter teeth.
Its a later type apparentley.

If you go the Quaife route it still retains the same CW and pinion does it not?
