Afternoon all, I was actually going to come on here to tell you all about the best driving weekend of my life (so far) basically drove the pennine way, from Preston right up through Langwathby and on up to Hexham at the weekend, bright blue skies, dry roads NO ONE IN THE PASSENGER SEAT!! It was fantastic to say the least but my throttle had become increasingly difficult to press, its been happening for weeks and TVR had it booked in for Thursday to sort! Anyway on my way down the M6 racing with an Esprit and my throttle response goes totally, managed to coast her over 3 miles downhill to a junction and pulled off. AA man comes out, i've actually snapped the accelerator pedal off where it joins the pivot...not bad eh? AA man fixes a apir of mole grips on where the pedal used to be and I drive it home on the grips with him following. So 3 points to my post...1)Fantastic drive, love the car more every day, 2)Am I the first to push a Cerb so hard that the accelerator pedal snaps? 3) AA men are bloody brilliant.
