Air Con live and drivers foot well

Two questions for today, as you search air con and not one result comes up!!

1) my air con appears not to be working because there isnt a 12v live going to the clutch etc, i have looked through the wiring diagrams but cant really work out how the system works? ie AC out, AC in etc etc. Does anyone know how the system works? ie press button, goes to cold air ecu, goes to nose connector? etc etc

2) with regards to the drivers foot well, does anyone have a picture of the foot well with all teh carpet removed etc? im curious to know whats behind the carpet in the right hand side?! also same for the wing!

1) You won't get 12v to the compressor clutch if the refrigerant level is too low. There is an under pressure switch that disables the clutch in order to protect the compressor, so it might be worth having it checked for leaks and topped up.

2) Fibreglass... Though if you remove the GRP panel to the right of the footwell there is the A/C expansion valve, heat exchanger and cold blower motor in the wing cavity. No pics I am afraid.

Most probably low gas pressure but can be a host of other things.

First thing, gas it up and then see if it works.

If not, open inspection hatch in front of the nearside wheel arch and hit the trinary switch with a hammer a few times.

If it still doesn't work you'll have to do a bit more digging.
