Can't turn alarm off - any suggestions?

Went to start the Cerbie today (was out last weekend and been on accumate in garage all week - so think battery is OK) and the alarm went off about 10 secs after I got in it (it wasn't locked, so the alarm shouldn't have been on anyway).
The MIL and battery light are now on constantly and there is a constant low level, but high pitch, sound coming from somewhere in the cockpit.
Pressing the key fob doesn't do anything at all.
I can't even open the door without the alarm going off - I want to go out and play!

Undo the battery for 5 mins then try again
