Oh FFS !

Hi All,

After replacing most of my cooling system I've now discovered that the origin of my leak is this 'Y piece' at the back of the engine where the Coolant Rails connect with the header tank overflow.



Is there any genius who knows how to get one of these to Luxembourg, Yesterday ?!

I would call Bryan at Racing Green (the ex Fernies guy) and set him the challenge of getting it to you pronto? Or find a local owner willing to collect it and send it urgent air mail?

Made the order but it looks like shop is shut for the night.
Left a message on the answering machine. You never know someone may pick it up on the way back from the Pub

Nice to see that there's a brass replacement for the cheap piece of plastic that has cracked in the first place.

Shame that a part advertised as 5 quid ended up costing 15.22

Blimey Paul. I was waiting for that picture to load on my phone and it started to come through in segments. I thought you was after some macabre 'Triple Ender'. Glad to see it's just a T piece. I wouldn't have though that's a specialist part. Have you give the local motor parts a shout ?

Do you have any local hydraulic hose manufacturers near you. People who do truck airlines, dustbin lorry hose repairs etc? Ie Parker

It's a common as feck brass T peice. Take a look on Ebay for Brass T Peice, anywhere from £2.00
You will be able to buy one in Luxembourg, try a '?mm pièce en T en laiton les conduites de carburant et Carburateurs

I remember that from my Cerbera, the hoses that connect to it had collapsed internally on mine causing all kinds of weird coolant probs.

I got mine from a Caravan dealers, they use the brass ones to split the gas between cooker and heater.

That's really kind but now I've ordered it the only thing that could get it to me quicker is a nutter wanting to take his P&J out for a li'l trip to Lux - Just kidding !

I just panicked and ordered as quickly as I good but thanks for the reference (and the translation). It will be stored away for the next encounter

Part of the whole process was to replace all the pipework before I found the real problem so I'm pretty sure that there are no 'hidden' pipe probs.
